The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.

Applications are now open and may shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house using a combined gross residence earnings that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme nsfas status for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
